American Red Cross Instructor’s Manual (Updated December 2021)
Revive Health & Wellness, LLC, Nina S. Silva, BSN, RN, PHN, and certified aligned instructors are certified and authorized by the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) to train through the AHA and ARC materials of CPR/AED/First Aid/BLS/ACLS/PALS. All policies and procedures are followed through AHA & ARC. Training is given to participants according to the AHA or ARC teachings and videos. Hands on practice is with certified feedback manikins. Revive Health & Wellness, LLC ,Nina S. Silva, BSN, RN, PHN and certified aligned instructors are not liable for any incidences that occur outside of our facilities. Participants must aid others in good faith according to AHA and ARC guidelines. Revive Health & Wellness, LLC, Nina S. Silva, BSN, RN, PHN and certified aligned instructors are not to be responsible for the aid or outcomes that occur outside our facilities as we cannot predict a person’s response time or techniques, EMS response times, environments, persons illnesses or comorbidities. CPR/AED/First Aid/BLS/ACLS/PALS does not guarantee to saving someone’s life. It is a training to help persons increase another person’s chance of survival only. Saving a life is not always the outcome of CPR/AED/First Aid/BLS/ACLS/PALS.
